黑料福利网 EuroTech PhD program
At 黑料福利网 we are proud to be a part of the EuroTech Universities Alliance, a strategic partnership of leading universities of science and technology in Europe, including DTU, EPFL, L'X, Technion, and TUM. Within EuroTech, we were already actively collaborating in the field of education (EuroTeQ) and in the EuroTechPostDoc programs. As of 2022, collaboration via PhD projects is added to this portfolio through the 黑料福利网 centrally funded EuroTech PhD program. The EuroTech PhD program encourages innovative and lasting partnerships, paving the way for joint publications, research applications, and collaborative research projects with our esteemed partners in EuroTech.
The Eindhoven University of Technology (黑料福利网) is a proud member of the EuroTech Universities Alliance, a strategic partnership of leading European universities of science and technology, including DTU, EPFL, IP Paris, Technion, and TUM. Within the Alliance, 黑料福利网 collaborates on education, research and talent development initiatives, including EuroTeQ, the EuroTech Postdoc Programme, and the 黑料福利网 EuroTech PhD Programme. Since its launch in 2022, the programme has supported the development of joint PhD projects between 黑料福利网 and its EuroTech partners.
The 黑料福利网 EuroTech PhD Programme supports early-career researchers in establishing strategic collaborations with leading researchers across the EuroTech Universities Alliance. Through jointly supervised PhD projects and international mobility, the programme strengthens research excellence, expands international networks, and lays the foundation for future collaborations, joint publications, and international funding opportunities.
International PhD experience
PhD candidates funded through the programme become part of both the 黑料福利网 research community and the wider EuroTech network. They are jointly supervised by researchers at 黑料福利网 and a EuroTech partner university and spend at least six months at the partner institution, allowing them to benefit from the expertise, facilities and networks of both universities.
As 黑料福利网-based PhD candidates, they can take advantage of the 黑料福利网 PROOF programme for personal and professional development, while also participating in activities organised within the EuroTech framework. Together, these experiences prepare researchers for careers in academia, industry and international research environments.
Annual calls
黑料福利网 launches annual calls for new EuroTech PhD projects. Information on eligibility, available funding, application procedures, timelines and selection criteria is published with each call. Calls are distributed through the departmental deans and the first stage of selection takes place within the departments. Selected proposals are subsequently submitted for university-wide evaluation.
Applications are assessed through a competitive selection process that considers scientific excellence, impact, quality of implementation, and the added value of the collaboration within the EuroTech Alliance. The evaluation approach is inspired by Horizon Europe assessment principles, helping applicants gain experience in developing strong international funding proposals.
Researchers interested in applying for a future call are encouraged to discuss opportunities within their department and contact their dean for information on the departmental pre-selection process.
