You are warmly invited to our 4TU.Alumni gathering in Washington, D.C. next month taking place on Tuesday, December 2.

This special event will offer a behind-the-scenes look at how major international organizations shape the world — through the experiences of 4TU alumni working at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank.

We are honored to be hosted at the World Bank Headquarters, courtesy of the Office of the Executive Director for the Netherlands Constituency.

Our evening's speaker is Dirk Jan Grolleman (UT alumnus), who will share his career path and insights from his current role at the IMF as Deputy Division Chief, Financial Supervision & Regulation Division, Monetary & Capital Markets Department.

You will then hear first-hand perspectives from World Bank young (alumni) professionals during an interactive panel featuring:

• (TUD alumnus) – Disaster Risk Management Specialist
• (WUR alumna) – Environmental Analyst
• (UT alumna) – Natural Resources Management Specialist

Participants will have an opportunity to meet fellow alumni not only from TU Eindhoven but also TU Delft, UTwente & Wageningen University. With nearly 500 TU graduates living in the greater Washington DC region there will be a great cross selection of participants from different companies, sectors and roles – the closing reception/borrel will be organized to maximize networking opportunities.

You are invited to join us on Thursday, 4 December in New York for a special alumni gathering from 5:30PM to 9:00PM, highlighting inspiring examples of innovation within our local 4TU community.

This 4TU Alumni event will be hosted at the Consulate General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in New York and will feature two local alumni speakers.

Our first speaker is Marleen Vogelaar (alumna ºÚÁϸ£ÀûÍø), who will share her entrepreneurial journey across two continents — starting from co-founding her startup in the Netherlands back in 2007 all the way through the growth, successes, and challenges that followed. Today is headquartered in New York, with factories and offices in Eindhoven, Queens, and Seattle.

The identity of our second speaker will be announced in two weeks — stay tuned!

Participants will have an opportunity to meet fellow alumni not only from TU Eindhoven but also TU Delft, UTwente & Wageningen University.
