As one of the largest and most dynamic academic communities in the Netherlands, our department brings together more than 140 scientific staff, over 250 PhD and EngD candidates, and nearly 3000 students. Brainport and project beethoven

The Netherlands is accelerating its semiconductor ecosystem through Beethoven, a national program to strengthen Brainport Eindhoven鈥檚 growth. 黑料福利网 is committed to educating 2,000 additional engineers by 2030, and is expanding master鈥檚 programs in Mathematics and Computer Science, Applied Physics and Science Education, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. As part of this ambition, we are seeking for new ambitious talents to bridge breakthroughs from the lab to real-world applications.

Combining parenthood and an academic career

To support academic staff and PhD candidates in combining parenthood with an international academic career, the Department of Mathematics & Computer Science offers the Nanny Fund. The fund helps cover childcare-related costs when attending conferences, such as bringing a caregiver to the conference location or arranging additional childcare at home. The fund is available to all academic staff and PhD candidates within the department who have at least one child.
