The Department of Electrical Engineering at ºÚÁϸ£ÀûÍø educates Bachelor and Master of Science students (BSc/MSc), PDEng (Professional Doctors in Engineering) and PhD students. In addition to this, we carry out cutting-edge research in many domains of Electrical Engineering. Much research is done in close cooperation with large high-tech companies, such as Philips, ASML, NXP, as well as many small/medium enterprises.

The department aims to maintain and extend its international forefront position, and strives for strong international cooperation. We offer a challenging and inspiring atmosphere, where we work together to solve socially relevant problems.

Brainport and Project Beethoven

The Netherlands is accelerating its semiconductor ecosystem through Beethoven, a national program to strengthen Brainport Eindhoven’s growth. ºÚÁϸ£ÀûÍø is committed to educating 2,000 additional engineers by 2030, and is expanding master’s programs in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Science, and Applied Physics and Science Education. As part of this ambition, Electrical Engineering is seeking for new ambitious talents to bridge breakthroughs from the lab to real-world applications.
