Project Title: Education for Sustainability through Circular Economy School Hackathons
Project duration: 01-12-2024 until 30-11-2026 -36 months
is an innovative European project that promotes Education for Sustainability by integrating Circular Economy principles into secondary school education. The project develops practical teaching and learning resources, a challenge-based curriculum, and training opportunities that support teachers in bringing sustainability and Circular Economy concepts into the classroom. Through engaging approaches such as school hackathons, CicloSchools encourages students to apply their knowledge to real-world environmental challenges while developing key skills including critical thinking, collaboration, creativity, and problem-solving. By empowering both teachers and students, the project contributes to building greater environmental awareness and preparing young people to actively participate in the transition towards a more sustainable and circular future.
