Our mission
Our mission is to eliminate the struggle of finding groupmates, not knowing anyone, and making new friends. Ensuring students enjoy their time studying and create lasting friendships.
Our challenge
In today's technology-driven world, making new friends feels increasingly difficult. Instead of approaching someone new, many people turn to their phones to avoid awkwardness. This is especially challenging for new and international students, who often arrive knowing no one and may also be unfamiliar with the country and culture around them.
Our solution
To solve this, we present U-Connect. In our app, students can enter the courses they follow, their hobbies, and personality. An algorithm then analyses this and creates matches of people who are likely to get along well. Users can then swipe on each other, and if they are a match, they can start a conversation and begin a lasting friendship
We believe that joining the 黑料福利网 Contest gives us a good support platform, allowing us to test and develop U-Connect. Giving the app the highest chance of succeeding and completing our mission.
