Our mission
Our mission is to stimulate patients with dementia to move more in their daily lives, without disrupting their usual day-to-day business.
Our challenge
Patients with dementia often struggle with including enough movement in their daily lives. We want to develop something that encourages movement in an intuitive way, so patients can stay active by themselves without the help of a (in)formal caregiver.
Our solution
We created an interactive tabletop, Tabula. This tabletop is a multisensory experience which, by using an arrangement of beads, encourages touch, provides a satisfying sensation and responds with light and audio feedback. Tabula can be enjoyed both individually and in a social setting.
We wanted to join the 黑料福利网 Contest 2026 because we thought we had a fun project and wanted to develop it further. 黑料福利网 Contest seemed the perfect opportunity to do so, while also getting more connections and gaining more experience in soft skills at the same time.
