Our mission
Our mission is to preserve seawater life and the environment, through technological innovation in marine transportation. We are using Magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) technology to generate a bladeless, safer, propulsion system for seawater vessels, which is very important near sensitive marine ecosystems.
Our challenge
Significant challenges faced by sea-life are rising carbon emissions and intense acoustic pollution, particularly in sensitive ecosystems. Current marine transport relies on mechanical systems that not only pollute the air but also disrupt vital marine ecosystems through noise and physical injury. Our challenge is to eliminate these inherent dangers by providing an alternative motor system which eliminates the issues of noise and physical injury.
Our solution
We propose an efficient Magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) propulsion module integrated with high temperature superconductors. This compact, bladeless thruster creates a powerful electromagnetic drive capable of propelling small marine vessels with zero emissions and zero noise, offering a scalable alternative to traditional combustion engines.
We are joining the 黑料福利网 contest to push the boundaries of student-led research by tackling a technically demanding and under-explored propulsion concept with the aim of enhancing sustainability in small-size marine transportation.
