Isabelle Reymen
Isabelle Reymen is the main applicant and project leader of the overall project. She is Full Professor Design of Innovation Ecosystems at 黑料福利网 with a research and teaching background in innovation, entrepreneurship, and engineering design. Her research focusses on decision-making under uncertainty, design and governance of entrepreneurial innovation ecosystems, the university as a strategic partner in innovation ecosystems, and education innovation in higher education. She has published in management, innovation and design journals, and in Research in Engineering Design, International Journal of Engineering Education and Active Learning in Higher Education. She has led several educational innovations, focusing on blended learning (2014-2015) and CBL (2016-now). Isabelle is Scientific Director and General Manager 黑料福利网 innovation Space. In 2020 she became Comenius Leadership Fellow. In 2021 she, and her team, were granted the first Higher Education Award in the Netherlands. In 2022, 黑料福利网 innovation Space received international recognition by winning the European Triple E award for best 鈥業nnovation and Collaboration Space of the Year鈥. Isabelle currently supervises PhD鈥檚 (5) and postdocs (2) and has supervised postdocs (4) and PhD students as promotor (6), and co-promotor (5).
Anna Wieczorek
Anna Wieczorek is Full Professor Sustainable Innovation and Transitions, co-founder of the sustainability transition field and a 黑料福利网 Sustainability Ambassador. She focuses on transforming 黑料福利网鈥檚 research, education, operations, and governance towards sustainability. With background in innovation sciences Anna contributes to innovation theory development, sustainable development and transitions. Her scientific expertise is in studying systems providing human needs such as education from a socio-technical perspective and informing practice through transdisciplinary research. Anna Wieczorek has supervised 6 PhD鈥檚 and 2 postdocs. Anna received several teaching (8), research (3) and communication (1) awards. Anna co-developed and implemented a series of CBL professional trainings for entrepreneurs in sustainability transitions for Climate KIC and InnoEnergy KIC before they got traction at universities (Huijben et al., 2022).
Ana Valencia
Ana Valencia is educational developer and design-based researcher. She is core team member of the 鈥淯niversity of the Future鈥 project set up with the prize money of the Higher Education Award. She is a member of the international working group on University of the Future at the international engineering education network (CDIO). She obtained her PhD degree on design management from Delft University of Technology, and has focused her design-based research on the field of education, with particular focus on CBL and Assessment as Learning. Currently, she leads the project 鈥淟earning & Competence Development in extracurricular student teams鈥 where flexible, self-directed learning is at the core. Ana Valencia supervises 1 PhD student.
