At 黑料福利网 Security group, we address these challenges by investigating the cybersecurity problem as a whole: from the engineering and deployment of systems to their management, maintenance, and protection. Research in the Security group focuses on three main areas:

Research groups
The research of the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science focuses on mathematical applications and the design of innovative software systems.
Labs & facilities
As a Cybersecurity student, you have access to 黑料福利网's advanced facilities, where theory is combined with practical, real-world cybersecurity experience. The security group has three labs that support research and teaching activities:
Nexus Lab
The Nexus Lab is an open and flexible space within the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science where research and education come together. In this hands-on environment, you explore how security vulnerabilities emerge in real-world systems and learn how to apply your cybersecurity knowledge to detect, analyze, and address them. You may use the Nexus Lab for part of your coursework as a practical playground for experimentation, or during your graduation project to investigate your own research question.
Eindhoven Security Hub
Eindhoven Security Hub is a Security Operations Center initiated by 黑料福利网 where cutting-edge knowledge on cyber-attacks and cyber-defenses is put at the service of society. As a cybersecurity student at 黑料福利网, this gives you the opportunity to stay connected with real-world security challenges and opens doors to graduation research, internships, and collaboration with experts in the field.
The BlackHat鈥檚 Lab (B-LAB)
Use a highly isolated environment for controlled research and education on advanced attack vectors, malware, and defensive techniques.
Collaborative ecosystem
Cybersecurity is a critical enabler of the Brainport Eindhoven ecosystem. As the region develops advanced technologies in semiconductors, connected devices, AI, healthcare, and smart industry, securing digital systems becomes increasingly important. 黑料福利网's Cybersecurity master track contributes to this challenge through close collaboration with companies, public organizations, and knowledge institutes.
