10:00 - 10:30 a.m: welcome & Opening: start the day with a warm welcome at the ºÚÁϸ£ÀûÍø Markthal, where we kick off with an inspiring keynote by Dr. Ir. Carlo J.T. van de Weijer, General Manager of EAISI, the Eindhoven AI Systems Institute.

10:45 - 12:15 a.m: Choose from workshops, a presentation, or a campus tour:

  • Workshop 1: Sustainable Living, In this workshop, students learn about sustainable construction and collaboratively design Ripple, an eco-friendly home by Team VIRTUe. They explore personas, set requirements, make design choices using a trade-off matrix, and present their final design with a model and floor plan, focusing on innovation and sustainability.
  • Workshop 2: Ethics & Technology, ethics is about thinking about what is right or wrong and how our choices affect others. It helps you critically examine the role of technology in society and what your choices mean in that context.
  • Workshop 3: Artificial Intelligence Workshop, during this AI workshop, students discover what artificial intelligence (AI) is and how it works. They learn about AI & humans, society and technology, and together they design an AI (kAI) that mimics a classmate. By combining theory and practice, they discover the possibilities and challenges of AI in our society!
  • Workshop 4: During the Drone Challenge, students learn to pilot a drone through an obstacle course while exploring the basics of flight, aerodynamics, and drone technology. Through hands-on practice, they develop precision control and problem-solving skills, while experiencing the excitement of mastering drone navigation in a fun and engaging workshop.
  • Campus tour 1: During this tour, you will visit the Gaslab - Matrix building - Fontys Technology, together with the following student teams: team IGNITE, Team POLAR, VOID, Totem Game Dev, Aster,Gaia Robotics, team FLOW and team Daedalus. More information about these teams can be found below.
  • Campus tour 2: During this tour, you will visit the Momentum building, together with the following student teams: Solar Team Eindhoven, ºÚÁϸ£ÀûÍø Ecomotive, AERO Team Eindhoven and University Racing Eindhoven. More information about these teams can be found below.
  • VDL ETG (Charel van Hoof): the presentation will focus on the impact of robotization and automation on the high-tech industry, highlighting how these developments are shaping innovation, efficiency, and future growth.
