RESEARCH PROFILE

Quanrun Dong is a joint PhD candidate at Eindhoven University of Technology (黑料福利网) and KU Leuven. His research lies at the intersection of fluid mechanics and rheology, with a particular focus on the impact dynamics of complex-fluid droplets. Using high-speed experiments and numerical simulations, he investigates how rheological properties influence transient interfacial flows and deformation during droplet impact. His work seeks to establish a unified understanding of droplet impact across different complex-fluid systems, with applications in additive manufacturing and advanced energy technologies.
