RESEARCH PROFILE
Marta Regis is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Eindhoven University of Technology, within the Teaching and Research Institute for Data Science Analytics (TRI-DSA).
Her research centers on developing and applying advanced statistical models for repeated measurement data, including latent variable longitudinal models and models for time series with high-frequency measurements, such as physiological signals.
Working closely in collaboration with researchers in the healthcare domain, she is committed to bridging the gap between academia and practice, by bringing cutting-edge statistical methods to real-world problems, and leveraging actual challenges to inspire academic innovation that is both practical and impactful.

ACADEMIC BACKGROUND
Marta received her double master degree in Industrial and Applied Mathematics from Politecnico di Torino and Eindhoven University of Technology (cum laude). She then obtained a doctoral degree in Statistics, and since 2022, she is appointed as assistant professor in the Teaching and Research Institute for Data Science Analytics (TRI-DSA) within the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science of Eindhoven University of Technology.
