Kaichen Zhang (Member, IEEE) received the B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, China, in 2018, and the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Aalborg University, Aalborg, Denmark, in 2020 and 2025, respectively.From September 2019 to February 2020, he was with ABB Corporate Research Center, Baden-D盲ttwil, Switzerland. From January 2025 to April 2026, he was with Aalborg University, where he worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher after completing his Ph.D. Since May 2026, he has been a Postdoctoral Researcher with Eindhoven University of Technology, Eindhoven, The Netherlands.His research interests include reliability, thermal modeling, condition monitoring, advanced packaging, and failure mechanism analysis of power electronic components.
