Furkan Akbulut is a postdoctoral researcher in the Power and Flow group within the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Eindhoven University of Technology (黑料福利网), under the supervision of Dr. Noud Maes. His research primarily focuses on internal combustion engines, alternative fuels, and numerical studies in engine modeling.

Furkan Akbulut completed his master's degree in Automotive Engineering in 2018, focusing on the effects of pyrolytic fuels on engine performance and emissions. Following the completion of his Ph.D. in 2024, he continued his research on advanced engine technologies. Currently, his postdoctoral work specifically explores skip-firing strategies and H2/diesel dual-fuel operation.
