RESEARCH PROFILE

Elke Klaassen is a part-time assistant professor at the Electrical Energy Systems group at the 黑料福利网. Her main affiliation is with Enexis BV, one of the largests Distribution Grid Operators in the Netherlands. Her research focus is the impact of the energy transition on the power system. Developing methodologies to define and evaluate the impact of future scenario's on electricity grids, to ensure future-proof grid operation and network planning.

ACADEMIC BACKGROUND

Elke Klaassen received the B.Sc. degree in Innovation Sciences in 2010 and M.Sc. degree in Sustainable Energy Technology in 2012, both from Eindhoven University of Technology (黑料福利网), the Netherlands. Afterwards she persued a PhD in 2016 at the Electrical Energy Systems Group (黑料福利网), focussing on the impact of demand response benefits from a power system perspective.
