Diederik Pel

RESEARCH PROFILE

Diederik Pel is a doctoral candidate in the Electromagnetics group at Eindhoven University of Technology and a guest researcher in the Radar Technology department at TNO Defence, Safety and Security. His research focuses on the integration and co-design of phased-array antennas and power amplifiers for advanced radar applications.

ACADEMIC BACKGROUND

Diederik Pel received the BSc (cum laude) and MSc (cum laude and with honors) degrees in Electrical Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology, The Netherlands, in 2023 and 2025, respectively. Currently, he is a doctoral candidate at the same university.

During his master's studies, Diederik received the NXP Semiconductors scholarship on millimeter wave wireless technology. From September 2024 to February 2025, he was an Antenna Research and Technology intern at Thales Alenia Space in Toulouse, France. Following this, he conducted his master's thesis research at the Radar Technology department of TNO Defence, Safety and Security in The Hague, The Netherlands, from April 2025 to December 2025.
