RESEARCH PROFILE
Dario Meroni is a doctoral candidate (PhD) at the Tu/e under the supervision of Prof. I. Cortes Garcia. Within the broader Dynamics and Control group, he is part of the Computational Dynamics subgroup. His research focuses on developing a framework for the fast and efficient simulation of complex engineering systems, leveraging data-based surrogate modelling to address challenges related to stability, accuracy and computational efficiency in coupled dynamical systems with kinematic constraints, governed by Differential-Algebraic Equations (DAEs).
Curiosity is the engine of the research. It鈥檚 what drives us to keep learning, keep trying, keep pushing forward.
ACADEMIC BACKGROUND
Dario Meroni studied Mechanical Engineering at the Politecnico di Milano (Italy), where he received his B.Sc. in 2021 and his M.Sc. with honors in 2024. He specialised in Ground Vehicle Engineering.
