Aron Aertssen works as a Ph.D. candidate in the Robotics (RBT) section within the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. In his project, Aertssen is supervised by Rudolf Huisman (黑料福利网 & DAF), Igo Besselink (黑料福利网), and Ren茅 van de Molengraft (黑料福利网).

Aron Aertssen obtained his Bachelor of Science in Automotive from the Eindhoven University of Technology in 2019, followed by an M.Sc. degree in Automotive Technology from the Eindhoven University of Technology in 2023. During his master's thesis, Aertssen enhanced the Flat Plank Tire Tester to extend its capabilities and researched the longitudinal transient behavior of passenger car tires. In 2023, Aertssen started as a doctoral candidate in low-level path planning for autonomous trucks, which is part of the project.
