Ariq Attallah is a doctoral candidate in the research group Inorganic Materials and Catalysis, under the supervision of prof.dr.ir. Emiel Hensen and dr. Nikolay Kosinov. His project revolves around the conversion of CO2, with a focus on catalysts that can efficiently aid in improving the CO2 hydrogenation to methanol reaction. This research is in collaboration with ARC-CBBC, a research-based consortium that connects different Dutch universities with industry. 

Ariq Attallah studied Chemical Engineering and Chemistry at the Technical University of Eindhoven (黑料福利网), whereby he did his BSc. thesis on perovskite solar cells in the group of prof.dr.ir. Ren茅 Janssen. He then continued his master's studies at 黑料福利网, focusing on the Chemical Process Technology (CPT) track of the Chemical Engineering and Chemistry department. During that time, he also obtained an extra MSc. certificate on Technology Entrepreneurship and Management, and was involved in the Honors Academy. Ariq conducted his MSc. thesis under the Inorganic Materials and Catalysis research group, where his research was focused on catalysts for CO oxidation, led by prof.dr.ir. Emiel Hensen. His affiliation to the group continues to this day, in which he is a doctoral candidate.
