February 2018 - HedenThe ImpactLab is a collaboration between the City of Eindhoven, Water Board De Dommel, and Eindhoven University of Technology. Since 2018, policymakers, experts, researchers, and students have explored how design-based research can lead to smart, spatially integrated solutions for climate adaptation.鈥�
鈥疧ur climate is changing. Extreme weather events are becoming more frequent. Our health, safety and economy are under pressure. The solution? Climate adaptation must become a natural part of spatial development. The question is not if we adapt, but how. The ImpactLab for the Climate-Resilient City explores how to put this into practice. By linking practice, research and education, the Lab works on a series of real-world cases.
