The Brainport region has grown into one of the Netherlands' leading health innovation ecosystems, driven by strong collaboration between industry, knowledge institutions, healthcare organizations, and government. This event aims to bring this Brabant innovation ecosystem together to foster collaboration. Meeting each other, exchanging knowledge, and inspiring one another. For the organizing parties, the underlying goal is to organize more meetings together rather than separately.

Eindhoven MedTech Innovation Centre (e/MTIC), LifetecZONe, the Brabant Development Agency (BOM) and Brainport Development warmly invite you to the third edition of the MedTech Brainport MEET-up on 03 December. This end-of-year event will bring together North Brabant鈥檚 MedTech ecosystem at M谩xima MC in Veldhoven, which is kindly making its venue available for the occasion. Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) will once again facilitate the matchmaking part.

  • 13:30 Matchmaking sessions - speed dating with new MedTech colleagues

  • 15:00 A fast track to clinical innovation: - inspiring examples of strategic regional collaborations
  • 15:30  - regional selection rounds
  • 16:15 Panel session with stakeholders from healthcare, science, industry, and insurers

Nationale Zorginnovatieprijs 2027

Promising healthcare innovations from Zuid-Oost Brabant will compete for a place in the finals of the Nationale Zorginnovatieprijs (National Healthcare Innovation Award) 2027.

  • Registration for the competition opens on 1 September 2026 at 12:00. The event brings together innovators from across the healthcare and well-being sector.
  • At the Brainport MEET-up on 3 December, scale-ups with healthcare innovations from our region will pitch for a spot in the national finals of the award.

At the MEET-up 2026, entrepreneurs, hospitals, health insurers, public authorities and educational institutions will come together to explore new partnerships, exchange knowledge and round off the year together with a celebratory drink.
