Exploring the Experience of Social Touch in old age and in dementia, Opportunities for Research and Design.

Our aim

In our research we are particularly interested in the salutary effect of touch interventions by using the concept of warm technology that can play a positive role in alleviating loneliness, stress and anxiety, resulting in an increase of quality of life and feelings of wellbeing, especially for senior citizens and people suffering from dementia.
