On 11 and 12 June, four 黑料福利网 spin-offs travelled to Amsterdam to take part in Hello Tomorrow 2026, one of the world's largest deep tech gatherings. Held at NDSM Wharf, the event brought together over 3,000 founders, investors, scientists, and policymakers around a single question: how do we move the most critical deep tech breakthroughs from the lab to the real world, faster?
The startups Precubitus, DXcrete, FABBS, and Gelion Care joined a 17-strong delegation of spin-offs from the 4TU universities, part of a broader Discover Dutch Deep Tech mission.
Four technologies, four real-world problems
Geert van Kollemburg and Erno Langendijk founded Precubitus. The company is developing objective, data-driven tools to detect early pressure-ulcer risk, a problem that affects up to 20% of hospitalized patients and currently relies on subjective assessment.
DXcrete, started by Emma Moonen and Timon Grob, is building a wearable platform that analyzes physiological signals in sweat to monitor kidney health in real time, aiming to replace infrequent lab tests with continuous, preventive insight.
FABBS, founded by Justin van den Hurk and Wouter Brans, uses physics-based modeling and advanced battery management technology to reveal a battery's true performance potential, helping integrators safely unlock capacity that often goes unused.
Gelion Care, founded by Shahriar Mirpour, is developing plasma-activated hydrogels designed to control wound infections locally while supporting natural healing, reducing reliance on antibiotics and the risk of resistance.
Conversations that matter
Beyond the pitches, the event gave the founders direct access to investors and partners. DXcrete came away with several promising leads. We had a number of really valuable conversations here, with people who immediately understood the relevance of what we're building, said Timon Grob, co-founder of DXcrete.

The four 黑料福利网 startups were part of a broader 4TU delegation of 17 spin-offs from Eindhoven, Delft, Twente, and Wageningen, all showcasing at the Discover Dutch Deep Tech booth.
