Energy
Energy management forms an important part of the Sustainability ambition of 黑料福利网. In 2015 黑料福利网 was climate neutral, and the aim is to be fifty percent energy neutral in 2030. This means that in that year half of our energy will be generated by 黑料福利网 itself. In 2022/3 黑料福利网 labelled all buildings in use with an energy certificate. To obtain this certificate, an extensive report is drawn up, describing not only the current energy efficiency per building, but also describing which improvements can be made to gain a higher energy efficiency. The use of gas shows a continuous decrease because more and more buildings are free of gas and use our ATES system for heating and cooling. We have already decreased 70% of our gas usage, and are expecting to reach up to 90% decrease by 2030, compared to our reference year 2005. Despite the expansion in square metres, our energy consumption in the year 2023 compared to 2022, remained the same.
Heat and Cold Storage
黑料福利网 has a Heat and Cold Storage (ATES) installation which is one of the biggest of its kind in Europe. The ATES has been executed with two central rings; a cold ring and a hot ring. Buildings can independently use heat and cold simultaneously, while heat and cold can be exchanged on the rings. This is a unique feature of the installation at 黑料福利网. A total of 70% of the built-up area of 黑料福利网 (19 buildings) is connected with the ATES.
