RESEARCH PROFILE

Thijs van Keulen is part-time Assistant Professor in the Control System Technology group and part-time employed as Senior Mechatronics engineer at ASML.  His research focusses on the control design of high-tech mechatronic systems. Thijs鈥 specific expertise covers advanced motion control, extremum seeking control and online performance optimization. He is the responsible teacher for the MSc course Data-based optimization of control systems.

鈥淓very move in mechatronic systems can be used to test the optimality of the control parameters and adapt them to further enhance performance鈥

ACADEMIC BACKGROUND

Thijs van Keulen received his MSc in Mechanical Engineering from Delft University of Technology in 2007 and his PhD in 2011 from the Eindhoven University of Technology (黑料福利网). Since 2013 he has been part-time Assistant Professor at the Control Systems Technology group at the 黑料福利网.
