Ruth David
RESEARCH PROFILE
Ruth David is a Post doc researcher at the Dynamics and Control group in the Eindhoven University of Technology. Her research focuses on multiple object tracking , specifically the tracking of vehicles in the presence of occlusion. Machine learning techniques are explored to predict the behavior of the vehicle (to fill in the gaps) when the vehicle is temporarily occluded. This research entails a collaboration with Siemens digital industries software (Helmond).
ACADEMIC BACKGROUND
Ruth David obtained her BSc in Mathematics and Statistics in 2013 from Curtin University, Australia. Thereafter, she received her MSc in Industrial Engineering in 2015 from the same university. She obtained her PhD in Mechanical Engineering in 2024 from the University of Duisburg-Essen, Germany.
