RESEARCH PROFILE

Pouriya Pirmoradi is a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Applied Mechanics group of the Department of the Built Environment at 黑料福利网, working under the supervision of Emanuela Bosco. His main research interests include Computational Mechanics, Fracture Mechanics, Multi-Scale Modeling, Multi-Physics Modeling, and Enriched Finite Element Methods. His current Postdoctoral research focuses on the computational modeling of hydro-mechanical degradation in historical oil paintings. He finished his PhD in the same group, working on the multi-scale and multi-physics modeling of heterogenous materials, with applications to fiber-reinforced composites, granular material, and porous media, under the supervision of Akke Suiker and Payam Poorsolhjouy.
