Nicole Stevens is a Postdoctoral Researcher working on material characterization within the PMP鈥憈o鈥慚ECRE project under supervision of dr. XiaoCheng Mi and dr. Giulia Finotello. Her current work focuses on advanced analytical techniques to understand material behavior and microstructural evolution, supporting the development of sustainable energy technologies.

Previously, she completed her PhD in the Power and Flow group at Eindhoven University of Technology (黑料福利网), supervised by prof.dr.ir. Niels Deen and dr. Giulia Finotello. Her doctoral research centered on the reduction of iron oxide within the metal power cycle,  a carbon鈥慺ree energy system in which iron powder acts as a recyclable energy carrier. Focusing on lab鈥憇cale experiments and design of fluidized beds, she investigated the reduction process, kinetics and evaluated the efficiency and potential of the full cycle.
