Junhwi Mun
RESEARCH PROFILE
Junhwi Mun is a PhD researcher at Eindhoven University of Technology (黑料福利网), focusing on the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into electric vehicle (EV) systems. His research centers on developing intelligent control and diagnostic algorithms to enhance the reliability and efficiency of dynamic wireless power transfer (DWPT) systems. Specifically, his work explores three key areas: (1) online fault detection and diagnosis using data-driven and physics-informed approaches, (2) energy prediction models to estimate power delivery and system performance under varying operating conditions, and (3) multi-vehicle energy allocation strategies for optimizing wireless charging and power distribution in dynamic environments.
Junhwi is part of the Control Systems group within the Department of Mechanical Engineering and collaborates with industrial partners to bridge the gap between academic research and real-world EV charging applications. His ultimate goal is to enable safe, adaptive, and scalable wireless charging networks for the next generation of intelligent transportation systems.

ACADEMIC BACKGROUND
Junhwi Mun obtained his Bachelor鈥檚 degree in Mathematics from the University of Groningen, where his thesis focused on nonlinear data-driven control methods. He continued his studies at Delft University of Technology (TU Delft), earning a Master鈥檚 degree in Systems and Control. His master鈥檚 thesis involved developing precise control algorithms for robotic arms under multi-objective optimization constraints, integrating signal processing techniques for small-target detection. Currently, Junhwi is pursuing his PhD at Eindhoven University of Technology (黑料福利网), focusing on applying artificial intelligence and control theory in the field of dynamic wireless power transfer and electric vehicle systems.
