Hao Jie Hu is a Doctoral Candidate at the Control Systems (CS) Group at the Department of Electrical Engineering, Eindhoven University of Technology. As part of the CIMBATT project, his research focuses on modelling and system identification for lithium-ion battery diagnostics, under the supervision of Tijs Donkers and Henk Jan Bergveld. Building on his previous work on electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, he currently investigates frequency-domain methods for characterising battery dynamics and their potential use in battery diagnostics.

Hao Jie Hu obtained his BSc and MSc degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Eindhoven University of Technology (黑料福利网) in 2023 and 2026, respectively. During his MSc research, he worked on modelling current-dependent battery impedance using high-frequency experiments under the supervision of Tijs Donkers.
