Giulia Ferrandi got her PhD from the Eindhoven University of Technology, Department of Mathematics and Computer Science. She is currently a guest researcher there. Under the supervision of prof. Michiel Hochstenbach (黑料福利网) and prof. Ros谩rio Oliveira (IST, Lisbon), she worked on the European project BIGMATH. Her main interests are Statistics, Linear Algebra, and Optimization applied to statistical problems.

Giulia Ferrandi studied at Universit脿 degli Studi di Milano, in the Department of Mathematics, from Sept. 2012 to Feb. 2018. During her master degree, she focused on Probability and Statistics. She briefly taught in High School and spent some months in industry.
