Deniz TuzcuoÄŸlu
RESEARCH PROFILE
Deniz Tuzcuoglu is a lecturer and researcher at the Eindhoven University of Technology (ºÚÁϸ£ÀûÍø). She has a background in architecture and civil engineering. Her doctoral research examined hybrid and smart workplace environments from the perspective of municipal employees. Her doctoral research received an NWO SURF POP UP grant in 2019 in collaboration with the Municipality of Eindhoven and !mpuls B.V.(). Her research interests include environmental psychology, workplace environments, technology and its benefits for society.
In addition to her research activities, she has over ten years of experience in education. She delivers lectures on architecture topics such as Introduction to architectural design projects. Within the Built Environment Department at ºÚÁϸ£ÀûÍø, she has been teaching , , and Making Meaning courses. These courses cover technical drawings (using Adobe Creative Solutions, BIM Software, ArchiCAD) as well as generating virtual environments (using Twinmotion, Unreal Engine).
Within the Industrial Engineering and Innovation Sciences Department at ºÚÁϸ£ÀûÍø, she has been teaching 3D Modeling Studio for the first-year Bachelor's program in Psychology and Technology.
She is the co-initiator and curates the platform.
