Crist贸bal Gonz谩lez is a PhD candidate at the Eindhoven University of Technology, working in the Power Electronics Laboratory. His research focuses on the application of Model Predictive Control (MPC) to power electronic systems, with an emphasis on improving the availability of grid-connected converters under abnormal operating conditions.

He is particularly interested in the performance improvements that MPC can bring to power electronics applications, as well as in enabling the real-time implementation of MPC at the microsecond timescales typical of these systems.
