RESEARCH PROFILE

Corné van Puijenbroek is a PhD student in the RF Sensing & Communication Lab, which is part of the Integrated Circuits group. He is working on advanced radar architectures that provide low-power, low-cost, high-accuracy solutions. Besides his work on radar architectures, Corné also is researching wideband 145 GHz circuit designs for radar applications.

ACADEMIC BACKGROUND

Corné received his bachelor’s degrees from the Eindhoven University of Applied Technologies in the Netherlands, in 1985. After a long career in the RF semiconductor industry, where he (co-)authored 12 patents, he started as a PhD candidate at Eindhoven University of Technology in June 2020. His main interests are in the fields of IC design, RF circuits above 100 GHz and coupled transmission lines.
