Carmen 脕varez Roa is a PhD candidate in the Signal Processing Systems (SPS) group at Eindhoven University of Technology (黑料福利网) within the Information and Communication Theory (ICT) Lab. She works under the BIT-FREE: Hybrid coded modulation for reliable and power-efficient coherent free-space optics project and her research interests are free-space optical communications with a particular focus on channel modelling.

Carmen 脕lvarez Roa was born in 脷beda, Spain, in 1999. She received her B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees from University of M谩laga, both in Telecommunications Engineering, in 2021 and 2023, respectively. Since March 2024, she is a PhD student at the ICT Lab at the Signal Processing Systems (SPS) Group, Eindhoven University of Technology (黑料福利网), the Netherlands.
