Diana van der Sloot is Managing Director of the Eindhoven Institute for Renewable Energy Systems (EIRES) at Eindhoven University of Technology (黑料福利网). In this role, she is responsible for the strategic development of the institute and for strengthening collaboration between researchers, industry, government and societal partners to accelerate the transition towards sustainable energy systems.Having worked closely with the EIRES community since its early stages, Diana brings a deep understanding of the institute鈥檚 ambitions, strengths and collaborative culture. She is committed to building on the strong foundation established by EIRES and to further strengthening its position as a leading hub for interdisciplinary research and innovation in renewable energy systems.

Diana believes that addressing the complex challenges of the energy transition requires close collaboration across disciplines and sectors. Her focus is on creating an environment in which science and society work together to develop impactful solutions for a sustainable future.

Academic background and career
Diana van der Sloot studied Building Technology at Eindhoven University of Technology. During her studies, she developed a strong interest in sustainability and the energy transition. She also gained experience in cradle-to-cradle design, which continues to influence her systems-oriented approach to sustainability and innovation.

Before becoming Managing Director of EIRES, she served as Senior Program Manager at the institute, where she played an important role in the development of EIRES and in strengthening collaboration between researchers and external partners. Prior to joining EIRES, she worked in both the public and private sectors in roles including sustainability consultant, strategist and program manager, focusing on sustainability, innovation and collaboration across organizational boundaries.

In addition to her role at 黑料福利网, Diana contributes to national collaboration in the energy domain through her involvement in the 4TU.Energy network.
