Koen Janssen

Koen Janssen is the President of the Executive Board of Eindhoven University of Technology. Koen鈥檚 focus is on local, national and international collaboration to maximize impact in education, research, and valorization. He studied and obtained his PhD in chemistry at KU Leuven.

Prof. Aida Todri-Sanial

Aida Todri-Sanial is currently a Full Professor in Electrical Engineering Department at Eindhoven University of Technology, Netherlands and Director of Research for the French National Council of Scientific Research (CNRS). Her research interests focus on emerging technologies and novel computing paradigms such as neuromorphic and quantum computing.

Prof. Shihab Al-Daffaie

Shihab Al-Daffaie is a professor and the head of the Terahertz Nanophotonics and Integration Technology (TNIT) Lab within the Integrated Circuits group in the Electrical Engineering Department at Eindhoven University of Technology. His core research areas are Terahertz photonic circuits, semiconductor integration, nano-optoelectronic devices, biomedical sensing, and THz communications. He serves as Scientific and Educational Director of the Eindhoven-South Korea Future Chips Academy (EHV-SK FCA), chairs the International Travelling Summer School on Terahertz Science and Technology, and is educational director of the Eindhoven Semiconductor Summer School (ESSS).

Christophe Fouquet

Christophe Fouquet is President & CEO of ASML, a leading lithography supplier to the semiconductor industry. A French national, he joined ASML in 2008. He was appointed to the Board of Management in 2018 as Chief Business Officer and appointed President & Chief Executive Officer in 2024. Previously, he led ASML鈥檚 EUV business from 2018 to 2022, spearheading the industrialization of Extreme Ultraviolet (EUV) lithography, and ASML鈥檚 Applications business from 2013 to 2018. Christophe holds a Masters鈥 degree in physics from the Institut Polytechnique de Grenoble, France and has more than 25 years鈥 experience in the Semiconductor Industry. Prior to his 16-year tenure at ASML, Christophe worked at semiconductor equipment industry peers KLA Tencor and Applied Materials.

Julien Ryckaert

Julien Ryckaert received the M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Brussels (ULB), Belgium, in 2000 and the PhD degree from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) in 2007. He joined imec as a mixed-signal designer in 2000 specializing in RF transceivers, ultra-low power circuit techniques and analog-to-digital converters. In 2018, he became program director focusing on scaling beyond the 3nm technology node as well as the 3D scaling extensions of CMOS. Today, he is Vice President logic in charge of compute scaling.

Glavine Yeh

Mr. Glavine Yeh is Sr. Program Manager, in charge of FinFET university program at TSMC Europe. Prior to this role, Glavine was Technical Manager, focusing on embedded non-Volatile Memory (eNVM) technologies and successfully driving eNVM technologies as the most important growing business at TSMC Europe. Glavine joined TSMC in 1997, he served as manager of customer service for the Japan region. In 2008, he joined TSMC Europe, responsible for engaging on technologies and enabling new product development. He received his M.S. in Material Science and Engineering from National Tsing Hua University in Taiwan.

Peter Zagwijn

Peter Zagwijn completed his master鈥檚 in physics at the University of Leiden and his PhD thesis on 鈥淕allium Delta Doping in Silicon鈥 at the University of Amsterdam in collaboration with Philips Research Laboratories in Eindhoven. Both his PhD work as well as follow-on post-doctoral research work was done at the FOM Institute AMOLF in Amsterdam. In 1996 he joined ASM as a process engineer working on the development of new materials and the deposition of nanolayers for semiconductor devices. Peter held various technical roles in ASM during his career and is currently a Senior Principal Technologist in the Office of the CTO. Peter also serves as a member of the Advisory Board of the Department of Applied Physics and Science Education of the Technical University Eindhoven (黑料福利网).

Michael Machold

Michael is Operational Director at TUM Venture Labs for Quantum/Semicon, building the go-to incubation program for semiconductor, photonics, nanotech, and quantum founders. He is passionate about empowering the next generation of deep-tech breakthroughs. Previously, he led product management for electromobility microcontrollers at Infineon, delivering major portfolio growth and impactful project outcomes. He has deep experience in data-driven strategies and GTM planning and his expertise is in startup & business development and strategic leadership.

Klaas-Jan Tielrooij

Klaas-Jan Tielrooij is an Associate Professor in the Applied Physics department of Eindhoven University of Technology, associated with the Advanced Nanomaterials and Devices group. He is also a Senior Group Leader at the Catalan Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (ICN2) in Spain, and leads the Ultrafast Dynamics in Nanoscale Systems group, which partially moved from Spain to the Netherlands in 2023. His key areas of expertise include ultrafast spectroscopy, terahertz photonics, optoelectronics, and layered quantum materials.

Dr. Abhishek Singh Dahiya

Dr. Abhishek Singh Dahiya is an Assistant Professor in the Integrated Circuits Group at the Department of Electrical Engineering, Eindhoven University of Technology. He received his Ph.D. in Electronics from the GREMAN Laboratory, Universit茅 Fran莽ois Rabelais de Tours, France, in 2016. Prior to joining 黑料福利网, he held postdoctoral positions at Northeastern University (Boston, USA), the University of Glasgow (United Kingdom), and the CNRS IES Institute (France). His research interests span nanoelectronics, flexible and printed electronics, low-dimensional materials, and resource-efficient manufacturing technologies.

Diana Leitao

Diana Leitao is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Applied Physics at Eindhoven University of Technology. Her research focus is on exploring novel thin-film stackings and fabrication methods to improve the performance of magnetic sensors and engineer additional functionalities. She is an expert in micro/nanofabrication with strong focus on electron beam lithography and process development for magneto resistive nanodevices. The technology being developed has applications in the data-storage and automotive industry, nondestructive testing, and biomedical devices.

Maarten Voncken

Maarten Voncken is Head of Research Metrology in ASML. He completed his Master鈥檚 and PhD in physics at Radboud University in Nijmegen. In 2004, he joined ASML, where he has consistently worked on the intersection of measurement systems, metrology and software. The first 13 years of his career were in the 鈥淒evelopment & Engineering鈥 sector, where he worked as an engineer and architect, project manager, and later group manager. In 2018, he transferred to the Research sector, where he was a group manager, and since 2022 a department manager. Part of this role is the responsibility for the academic network of ASML. Next to his current role, Maarten also manages a program on ESG Research, i.e. Research that primarily benefits society.

David de Roest

David De Roest received his M.Sc. in Engineering (Physics) from Ghent University, Belgium, in 1998 and his Ph.D. in Electronics from KU Leuven/imec in 2003. He joined ASM International in 2005, where he began his career as a Process Engineer developing advanced thin-film deposition processes for leading-edge semiconductor technologies. David has held a variety of technical and leadership roles spanning process development, materials innovation, process integration, and application engineering. He currently leads the Patterning Applications program within ASM's Corporate R&D organization, driving the development and integration of advanced materials and process solutions for next-generation semiconductor devices. His areas of expertise include thin-film deposition, lithography-related process integration, advanced patterning and semiconductor materials. David is co-inventor of more than 30 patents and co-author of over 60 technical publications.

Evelien de Vries

Evelien is Partnership Manager Startups and VC at ASML.

Johan Bauwelinck

Johan Bauwelinck is a professor in IDLab, an imec research group at Ghent University, where he is leading the Design lab. His research focuses on high-speed, high-frequency (opto-) electronic circuits and systems, and their applications on chip and board level, including transmitter and receiver analog front-ends for wireless, wired and fiber-optic communication or instrumentation systems. He is active in multiple EU-funded projects and is a senior member of the IEEE and the IEICE, and is a member of the ECOC technical program committee.

Sander Roosendaal

With a Ph.D. in physics from Utrecht University, Sander Roosendaal began his career as a scientist at Philips Research, contributing and leading industrial R&D in the fields of LCD displays and electronic paper. From 2008 to 2020, Sander served as a technical leader at Honeywell Aerospace, overseeing Honeywell's development of Navigation, Surveillance and Communication avionics for new Air Traffic Management standards. Since 2020, Sander has been the R&D leader for Photonic Systems at Synopsys, where he bridges the gap between physics and professional software development.

Sjoerd van der Heide

Sjoerd van der Heide received his MSc and PhD from Eindhoven University of Technology, where he worked on ultra-high-speed fiber-optical transmission. He conducted his research in Eindhoven as well as during research internships at ADVA Optical Networking, Nokia Bell Labs, and the National Institute of Information and Communications Technology in Tokyo, Japan. After a postdoc working on continuous variable quantum key distribution, he joined EFFECT Photonics. As a member of the optical subassembly team at EFFECT, he is responsible for laser calibration and characterization. He also serves as technical subcommittee chair at the European Conference on Optical Communication.

Prof. Martijn Heck

Martijn Heck is professor in the Photonic Integration group of the Electrical Engineering department at Eindhoven University of Technology. He is also still a part-time group leader at Aarhus University in Denmark, where he founded the Photonic Integrated Circuits group in 2013. Martijn is a globally recognized and internationally oriented expert in photonic integration, with broad experience in ground-breaking basic research, applied research and technology transfer. Martijn has a strong background in photonic integration. As a generalist, his experience spans the whole chain of optical chip design, fabrication and characterization. Martijn received his MSc in Applied Physics in 2002 and his PhD in 2008, both from Eindhoven University of Technology.

Luc Augustin

Luc Augustin received the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology. He is the CTO of SMART Photonics, where he is responsible for the technology roadmap, strategy and R&D. His expertise is in photonics, fabrication and characterisation of InP photonic integrated circuits.

Dr. Arnoud van der Wel

Dr. Arnoud van der Wel has been with NXP since 2005, and is currently R&D Director for the product line In-Vehicle Networking in Nijmegen. He holds 15 patents, and has authored or co-authored over 15 peer-reviewed papers. He leads a team of architects and designers developing cutting-edge automotive network transceivers in advanced CMOS and SOI processes. Dr. Van der Wel holds a Ph.D and M.Sc in Electronic Engineering from the University of Twente and is a qualified physics teacher.

Dr. Alessio Filippi

Dr. Alessio Filippi, has been with NXP since 2012, and is currently Fellow in the business line Radio Frequency processing. He is part of the Innovation team and manages and contributes to the long term program on digital algorithms and advanced waveform for automotive radar.

Daan Daverveld

Daan holds both a BSc and MSc degree in Electrical Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology. During his MSc, completed in 2021, he specialized in electromagnetics, with a focus on frequency-scanning antenna arrays. He began his career at NXP Semiconductors as a Systems & Applications Engineer in the Smart Antenna Solutions product line. Then he moved into a more customer-facing role as Customer Program Manager within the Radio Power group, combining technical expertise with commercial and program management responsibilities. Today, Daan is Global Product Portfolio and Marketing Manager for NXP鈥檚 In-Vehicle Networking product line. He is responsible for the CAN portfolio, where he focuses on addressing market needs around cost optimization while driving the introduction of new technological features through a full design refresh of the legacy portfolio.

Brian de Bart

Brian de Bart is leading the Automotive System Innovations department, part of the Central Technology Office (CTO) of NXP Semiconductors. This team of approximately 40 highly skilled system engineers defines and develops innovative demo鈥檚, proof-of-concepts and system solutions using NXP automotive chips and software.

Clara Otero Perez

Clara Otero Perez has over 20 years of experience in the automotive semiconductor industry, and is currently leading the Vehicle Electrification Systems at NXP Semiconductors. Clara was also a leading driver behind NXP's company-wide system strategy and drove progress across the company on a broad set of automotive system solutions and automotive innovations. Currently, Clara is leading the Vehicle Electrification Systems. Her core competencies lie in System Innovation and customer relations.

Teresa Cruz Ravelo

Teresa Cruz Ravelo is an Engineering Manager at NXP Semiconductors. She leads a multidisciplinary team within NXP's System Innovation organization, driving the development of innovative automotive and semiconductor technologies. Teresa combines a strong technical background with extensive experience in project and innovation management, helping bridge research, engineering, and business needs. She is passionate about fostering collaboration, talent development, and diversity in engineering. Theresa actively supports students, early-career engineers, and STEM outreach initiatives, and frequently collaborates with universities, industry partners, and cross-functional teams across NXP. Her work focuses on enabling innovation, developing people, and translating emerging technologies into real-world impact.

Bram-Ernst Verhoef

Bram-Ernst Verhoef pursued post-doctoral research in Computational Neuroscience at both Harvard University and The University of Chicago, after earning his Ph.D. from KU Leuven in 2010. In 2021, he co-founded Axelera AI and was Head of Machine Learning, spearheading the optimization efforts for Axelera AI鈥檚 cutting-edge deep learning accelerator. Currently, Bram-Ernst leads the customer engineering and support initiatives within Axelera AI.

Federico Corradi

Dr. Federico Corradi is an Assistant Professor in the Electrical Engineering Department. His research activities are in Neuromorphic Computing and Engineering and span from the development of efficient models of computation to novel microelectronic architectures, with CMOS and emerging technologies, for both efficient deep learning and brain-inspired algorithms. Dr. Corradi received a Ph.D. degree from the University of Zurich in Neuroinformatics and an international Ph.D. from the ETH Neuroscience Centre Zurich in 2015. He was a Postgraduate at the institute of Neuroinformatics in 2018.

Alfons Bruekers

Alfons Bruekers received his MSc in 1986 at Eindhoven University of Technology. After a career of 21 years in industry he joined 黑料福利网 as managing director of the departments of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Applied Physics. Currently, he is managing director of the 黑料福利网 Strategic Areas Smart Mobility, Energy and Health. In 2017, he became managing director of 黑料福利网 Innovation Space. He is chairman of STRABO (Stichting Regionaal Archeologisch BodemOnderzoek) and Stichting Geschiedschrijving Nederweert. He publishes articles and books on regional history and archaeology, in newspapers, monographies, magazines and social media.

Dr. Amir Zjajo

Dr. Amir Zjajo is co-founder of Innatera Nanosystems B.V. and serves as its Chief Scientist. Prior, he was a member of research staff at Philips Research Laboratories and Corporate Research of NXP Semiconductors. He was with the Delft University of Technology where he was responsible for leading research into intelligent neuromorphic systems. Amir has published 3 books, 3 book chapters, more than 100 papers in the areas of mixed-signal VLSI design, and neuromorphic circuits and systems, and holds more than 20 US patents or patent pending. He received the M.Sc. and DIC degrees from the Imperial College London, U.K., and the PhD. degree from Eindhoven University of Technology. His research interests include energy-efficient circuit and system design for neuromorphic signal processing, and bionic electronic circuits for autonomous cognitive systems. Amir is a senior member of IEEE.

Prof. Marion Matters-Kammerer

Prof. Marion Matters-Kammerer is full professor, vice-dean and education program director of the Department of Electrical Engineering at Eindhoven University of Technology. Her area of expertise includes milimeter-wave to Terahertz integrated circuit design and systems integration as well as high-speed electronic circuits for photonic communication.
