Five Stories, more than 80 projects

The projects featured in these exhibitions show how Industrial Design in Eindhoven has evolved over the past 25 years into a field where technology, people, and societal challenges come together.
Rooted in The Eindhoven Approach, a distinctive way of designing through making, collaboration, and real-world impact, the projects are organized around five stories.

  • Discover how designers contribute to better health and well-being in Healthy Tech.
  • Explore the potential of new and intelligent materials in The Material Turn.
  • See how design helps create a more sustainable future in Breaking Boundaries for Sustainability.
  • In Designing Designers you can experience how our department has shaped generations of designers through Educational Innovation & The Eindhoven Approach.
  • And join study association Lucid in celebrating 25 years of outstanding talent in ID Class of '26, a selection of inspiring graduation projects from the year 2025-2026.

Together, these five stories show what ID in Eindhoven stands for: designing for a complex world, with people at the center.
