For 25 years, Industrial Design at Eindhoven University of Technology has explored how design, technology, and society can shape meaningful futures. During Dutch Design Week, we celebrate this milestone with a series of exhibitions and events showcasing the people, projects, and ideas that have defined Industrial Design in Eindhoven.
The exhibition at Ketelhuisplein offers a selection of projects that reflect the breadth and impact of our work. It provides a preview of our much larger anniversary exhibition in Atlas, where more than 70 projects reveal five stories that have shaped 25 years of Industrial Design and The Eindhoven Approach.

From Thriving Together: Healthy & Inclusive Environments, featuring innovative solutions for urban air quality, timber construction, and nature-inclusive design at Ketelhuisplein, to Theoria at Vertigo, an installation exploring the language and thinking behind architectural design, our exhibitions reveal how the built environment influences everyday life and how it can contribute to a better future for people and nature alike.

THEORIA, TOWARDS A BEAUTIFUL VOCABULARY OF DESIGN @ VERTIGO
CASA Vertigo presents Theoria, an installation that brings to life Jacob Voorthuis鈥� lifelong philosophical exploration of the language of design. Through diagrams and visualizations, it reveals how words help shape architectural thinking and decision-making.

MOD[us]

MOD[us] is an adaptive modular building system by Team VIR黑料福利网 for the Netherlands鈥� changing spatial needs. One shared structural and technical DNA lets modules shift between housing and Meet[us] spaces, reducing vacancy and avoiding demolition.
