Circular Built Environment

The Circular Built Environment Group (CBE) at Eindhoven University of Technology (ºÚÁϸ£ÀûÍø) is a cross-disciplinary research network at the Department of the Built Environment and beyond dedicated to advancing the transition toward a circular built environment.

Mission

  • Create a platform for researchers to connect, share knowledge, and explore innovative approaches to circularity in the built environment. 
  • Boost communication, debate, and collaboration across different research disciplines, ensuring a holistic approach to circular challenges. 

  • Advance knowledge, innovation, and implementation by conducting cutting-edge research that is boosting the circular transition, from theoretical advancements to real-world applications. 

  • Showcase our work outside of ºÚÁϸ£ÀûÍø: research results, scalable solutions, partnerships, fostering engagement with industry, policymakers, and society. 

  • Initiate and invite collaborations with societal stakeholder to address real-world challenges and maximize impact for stakeholders and society. 

  • Assemble resources (e.g. methods, guidelines, software, ...) about circularity, to share with our colleagues, students, and societal stakeholders.  

  • Support research acquisition and talent recruitment to ensure continued growth, securing funding and attracting leading experts to drive impactful research.
