About us

Each sport offered by the Samourais is built on its own philosophy and purpose, resulting in a diverse community where every member finds their place. Whether you aim for competitive excellence or personal well-being, our environment adapts to your goals. With a yearly contribution of only 20鈧�, members get access to all trainings, social events and opportunities to attend seminars and to prepare for competitions.


Newcomers are welcome to attend several trial sessions across different sports before committing to membership. Our board also helps members get recommended gear at a discount through our partner store, ensuring a warm welcome and a supportive atmosphere on the mat for everyone, regardless of their experience level.

Aikido

AIKIDO teaches you to react to an attack in a relaxed way while using the energy of your 鈥榦pponent鈥�. It is a kinematic art, which is useful for posture correction and keeping fit. It is suitable for everyone, regardless of age or physical strength.

Judo

For JUDO, the most prominent feature is the competitive element. The objective is to either throw or take down an opponent to the ground, immobilize or otherwise subdue them with a pin, or force them to submit with a joint lock or a choke.

Karate

KARATE can be defined as a weapon-free way of self-defense. It consists of dynamic offensive and defensive techniques in which all parts of the body are used. Karate is very diverse, implementing kata (predefined movements), kihon (basic) and kumite (sparring) in training.

Brazilian jiu-jitsu

BRAZILIAN JIU-JITSU is ideal if you like competition. Characterized by the sparring matches, it is a close-quarter ground fighting art that uses proper technique, connection and leverage to be able to overcome larger, stronger opponents.
