About us
The name 鈥楬oc Habet鈥 originates from a duel between Messapus, the leader of the city Latium, and the king Aulestes, described in Virgils ancient epic story Aeneid. When Aulestes dies after an intensive fight, Messapus proclaims: 鈥淗oc Habet, haec melior magnis data victima divis.鈥 Which loosely translates to: 鈥淗e has it, that is a beautiful sacrifice to the gods.鈥 Hoc Habet refers to the final blow, ending the fight.
