E.S.H.V. Don Quishoot

E.S.H.V. Don Quishoot represents beginner and advanced players on the hockey field. You can find us in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd half of the game!

About us

Hockey is a very popular sport in the Netherlands and also among students. E.S.H.V. Don Quishoot has seven men鈥檚 teams, ten ladies鈥� teams, and two mixed training teams (beginners and advanced). Both our first teams (Ladies 1 and Men鈥檚 1) play in the 3rd league of the competition, meaning that there鈥檚 plenty of challenge for the more advanced hockey player. The other teams represent plenty of different hockey levels, so there is always a team that suits your level. Everyone is welcome!

Besides the weekly competition and practices, we organise many events. We organise a six vs. six hockey competition for all sports card holders. For our members we also provide masterclasses, keeper clinics, trainer educations, ski trips and much more.

At our club, we feel like a big family. On Sundays we like to watch hockey games from other teams. Afterwards, we eat together and finish with a great party. Most of the time, these parties are organised by our teams. Therefore, E.S.H.V. Don Quishoot allows you to - next to playing hockey - make the most of your student life.

Events

Sundays

On Sundays we like to play hockey and watch hockey games from other teams, after that we eat together and we end with a great party.

Beginners鈥� training

This is a mixed (ladies鈥� and men鈥檚) hockey training team, where starting hockey players will learn the basics of playing hockey.

Masterclasses

This is an event where an experienced hockey trainer will provide a training for our members. This is fun for beginners as well as advanced players.

Keeper clinics

Goalkeepers are an essential part of every hockey team. To motivate these goalkeepers in learning more and having fun with each other we provide a keeper clinic once in a while.

Don Quititie

A small competition for all sports card holders. In groups of six you play against other teams. If your team is present during all Don Quitities you might even win the championship!
