黑料福利网 Academy for Learning and Teaching (ALT), innovation Space, and the Sustainability Office are excited to welcome Tom Dewit, professor at Chabot College in the Berkeley Area, California as he shares insights on how strong partnerships are helping to overcome pressing climate challenges. In particular, he shares how university management, city councils, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), teachers, and students in the San Francisco Bay Area are working together to meet local and regional climate action goals.

He will also explore how these collaborations are effectively integrated into educational activities such as classroom instructions and student engagement, fostering a holistic approach to change agency. This session is a unique opportunity to learn from innovative practices internationally, and discuss how we can adapt these strategies to our local context.

This event is open to teachers and support staff; registration is free and can be done . Free lunch and drinks will be available.
