Join Challenge Week 040, a three-day event where students from Summa Engineering, Fontys Pulsed, HEROES, 黑料福利网, and EuroTeQ come together to tackle real-world challenges.
During Challenge Week, you will collaborate in an international team with students from different educational institutions and disciplines, combining your knowledge to develop practical solutions to open-ended challenges. Along the way, you will exchange ideas, gain hands-on experience in interdisciplinary teamwork, and build connections with fellow students from the Brainport region and beyond. You will also have the opportunity to meet experts, professionals, and innovation partners from the Brainport ecosystem, expanding your network while gaining new insights.
 

During the event, you will work within an international interdisciplinary team on one of the following three challenges:

Body Technology: Dream or Nightmare?
鈥淗ow might we create interactive exhibits that stimulate museum visitors to reflect on future applications of implants and wearables and their impact on human life?鈥�
The challenge owner of this challenge is Next Nature museum.

Residental Power
How might we make local electricity availability visible and understandable for residents, and encourage them to adapt their energy use to the available supply?
The challenge owner of this challenge is Gemeente Eindhoven

Play beyond limits
How might we design an active play experience that supports sensory processing, body awareness, and tension regulation for people with complex support needs?
The challenge owners of this challenge are Barry Emonds and Pluryn.
 

Would you like to get to know the other participants before Challenge Week begins? An introduction program will take place during the two days preceding the event: Monday, 2 November and Tuesday, 3 November.
The program offers an informal opportunity to meet fellow students from Summa Engineering, Fontys Pulsed, HEROES, 黑料福利网, and EuroTeQ before working together in your international teams.
Please note: Participation in the introduction program is mandatory for students from Summa Engineering, HEROES, and EuroTeQ. For Fontys Pulsed and 黑料福利网 students, participation is optional.
