WHY YOUR VOTE MATTERS

On Wednesday, October 29, 2025, the Netherlands will hold elections for the Tweede Kamer, the national parliament. Across the country, citizens will head to the polls to help shape the future direction of our society.

This election comes at a time of real challenges, from the housing crisis and climate transition to questions of economic opportunity and social equality.
It may sometimes feel as though one vote makes little difference, but history shows that every vote counts.

As members of the Eindhoven University of Technology (黑料福利网) community, we believe that participation is an essential part of our shared values: curiosity, responsibility, and commitment to progress.

We encourage all students, staff, and researchers who are eligible to make time to vote and take part in this democratic process.

UNABLE / NOT ELIGIBLE TO VOTE?

You can play an important role by encouraging your Dutch friends and colleagues to vote, by engaging in open discussions, and by helping create an atmosphere of participation and civic awareness within our community. Together, we can ensure that every voice within 黑料福利网 is heard and every eligible voter feels empowered to take part. Your vote is your voice. Your voice shapes the Netherlands. Use it.
