Thrift Shop @HAVEN

Refresh your wardrobe and home decor sustainably. Visit our pop-up thrift shop at HAVEN (Terra buildings) all week from 13:00 to 16:00. Drop off items you no longer use or pick up pre-loved treasures left by others. It is an easy, circular way to prepare your interior and style for the summer season.

Sustainability Expo @Atlas Hall

Explore the evolution of campus sustainability at the Atlas central hall. The exhibition features a Green Office through the years portfolio, the Totem Arcade featuring a custom sustainability game, and the Cocosmos installation. Relax in our living-room-style setup and discover the tangible impact made on campus.

 

MONDAY, 18TH MAY

Campus Biodiversity Tour -

16:00 – 17:30 | Starts between Atlas and Auditorium

Discover the hidden nature of our campus with ecologist Nuno Curado. From bee and bat hotels to the resident beaver along the Dommel, this guided tour offers an expert look at the diverse species sharing our workspace and study environment.

Connect with My Culture

16:00 – 19:00 | Metaforum

Celebrate the rich cultural diversity of the ºÚÁϸ£ÀûÍø community. Organized by CwmC, this gathering features food, performances, and workshops from various student associations and teams. Everyone is welcome to contribute and connect.

Culture Collage Workshop

19:30 – 23:00 | Luna Basement

Join student groups Stitch and Glyph for a hands-on creative session. This workshop focuses on upcycling, where participants will collaborate to create an art collage using primarily scrap and discarded materials.

Het Klimaatexamen (The Climate Exam) -

Test your environmental knowledge in this 60-minute nationwide initiative. The exam covers essential topics including climate adaptation, the circular economy, and the core causes of global climate change. Designed for employees looking to expand their professional and personal climate literacy.

Studium Generale Screening: The Coriolis Effect (2025) -

Experience a poetic documentary exploring survival on the volcanic islands of Cape Verde. The film illustrates how wind and ocean currents dictate life, mirroring the fragile journey of sea turtles in a changing natural world.

Repair Your Clothes Workshop -

Don’t discard—repair. Bring your damaged or worn clothing to this Stitch workshop and learn practical skills to extend the life of your wardrobe. Materials and guidance will be provided to help you fix your own items.

Lunch Lecture: Casa Real & Sustainable Social Housing -

Discover how Casa Real is revolutionizing social housing in Mozambique. This session focuses on their use of local materials to achieve both environmental and social sustainability. Climate Fresk Workshop -

Understand the fundamental science of climate change in this collaborative three-hour session. Based on IPCC reports, the workshop uses a deck of cards to help participants visualize cause-and-effect relationships, empowering them to take informed action.

Participate in the primary sustainability event for Dutch vocational and higher education (MBO, HBO, and WO). Groene Peper facilitates knowledge exchange and networking between students and professionals to drive the green transition forward.
