General Affairs (GA) is headed by the secretary of the university: dr. ir. E. van der Geer-Rutten-Rijswijk. GA consists of various units and people, and coexists with the Board Secretariat and the Administrative Staff. These various units and people are placed close to the Executive Board, which is considered useful. Currently, these are the Office of Doctoral Presentations and Academic Ceremonies, and .

The Board Secretariat provides support to the Executive Board and the University Council.
