is the leading national code of conduct for all Dutch universities. The code is based on five principles: honesty, diligence, transparency, independence, and responsibility.

In addition to the national code of conduct, we also have our own 黑料福利网 . In this more concise version, we take into account the specific aspects of scientific activities at a technical university. The 黑料福利网 Code of Scientific Conduct therefore includes standards for design-oriented activities, and in the interest of researchers (e.g., PhD candidates, postdocs, and EngDs) the confidentiality of data and research results is restricted. In other areas where there are differences in nuance or wording, the Netherlands Code of Conduct for Research Integrity applies.

What happens if the code of conduct is not followed?

Everyone involved in education and research at 黑料福利网 bears a personal responsibility to uphold and maintain scientific integrity. We expect you to adhere to the general principles of professional scientific conduct under all circumstances.  Are you experiencing difficulty with this or have you seen someone else acting without integrity? Then it is important to discuss this. You can contact a confidential advisor via  the Integrity and Social Safety Desk.

At 黑料福利网, we place great value on taking social responsibility for our research and educational activities. This is particularly important for activities involving human subjects or personally identifiable data.

At 黑料福利网, we have a central Ethical Review Board (ERB), established by the Executive Board. All departments are represented on the ERB. The purpose of the ERB is to encourage 黑料福利网 researchers and students to conduct research in accordance with accepted ethical standards and to act in compliance with existing laws and regulations. All relevant research within 黑料福利网 must be reviewed by the ERB prior to the start of the study.

Research falling under the Medical Research Involving Human Subjects Act (in Dutch WMO) or the Dutch Medical Devices Act (in Dutch WMH) must be reviewed by an accredited Medical Research Ethics Committees (MRECs, outside 黑料福利网). 黑料福利网 provides support during the ethical review procedures. The 黑料福利网 Executive Board actively supports the European Commission in promoting scientific integrity in Horizon Europe. In doing so, 黑料福利网 adheres to the . To ensure that researchers can translate these principles into their own responsible research practices, 黑料福利网 has drawn up a Research Integrity Promotion Plan (RIPP). The 黑料福利网 RIPP is available upon request.

黑料福利网 does not have facilities for animal research. Any experimental animal research is conducted solely in collaboration with other institutions, including other universities, in compliance with applicable laws and codes of conduct.
